Dear friends of the Rosenstock,
our hotel is open - including the complete wellness area!
The 2G-RULE currently applies in our hotel (vaccinated or recovered)
In Bavaria and in the Oberallgäu district, the "red" level was declared. The 2G-RULE must therefore be applied in hotels and restaurants: vaccinated or recovered
The following rules apply:
· Completely vaccinated people need the corresponding vaccination certificate (vaccination card - analogue or digital).
· Those who have recovered require a certificate of recovery.
Please note that mouth and nose protection (FFP2 mask) is mandatory during your time in our house! This does not apply in the wellness area or at your table in the restaurant. Thanks very much!
We expressly point out that we do not accept a medical certificate that exempts you from wearing mouth and nose protection!
We will adapt these measures to the current situation.
It is very important to us, despite all the measures and changes, to make your vacation and your Rosenstock time as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Please note our cancellation period of 7 days
(except for bookings on booking.com or HRS).
You can still reach us by phone from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at +49 (0)8326-36456-0 and at any time by e-mail: info@hotel-rosenstock.de
Until we meet again, we wish you all the best!
Your Karg family and all employees
Summit Station to Riezlern
From the summit station of the Söllereckbahn cable car there is an initial short and gentle climb to Alpe Schrattenwang. Then follow the path on to Riezlern. After a short, level section through forest you reach the border to Austria and follow the gently descending path through lush meadows, whilst enjoying the wonderful views towards the Kleinwalertal valley.
After following the wide path for about 1 hour at approx. the same level, it then begins to become steeper and narrower, snaking down into the valley. Then it goes through forest once more, passing Mittel-Alpe and Bergstüble (which are great places for another refreshment break), down to Riezlern. From here you can take the Walserbus back towards Oberstdorf and get off at the Söllereckbahn cable car station.
High Level Hiking Trail on Hoher Ifen
You can enjoy the Alpine winter to the full on this wonderful circular trail through the snow dunes.
A new 6-gondola lift takes you up to the summit station. From there, just follow the footpath signs for the "Winter-Rundwanderweg" circuit. In just a few minutes you will be enjoying wonderful views of the valley, which continue from then on. Incidentally, at 2,000 metres, this winter walking trail is the highest footpath accessible by mountain cable car.
The well-cleared route takes you 5 km through an impressive, icy winter landscape; and on clear days, you can even see Lake Constance to the west and as far as the Swiss Alps.
